Your new role:

As Director Support Officer, you will provide high-level, confidential administrative and secretarial support to senior nursing and midwifery leadership, helping ensure the Women's & Children's Service operates efficiently and effectively. You will play a key role in keeping priorities on track and supporting the team with:

- Proactively managing diaries, appointments, meetings and competing priorities.
- Coordinating and providing secretariat support for meetings, including minute taking.
- Managing incoming telephone calls, emails and correspondence.
- Coordinating medical onboarding, recruitment, interviews, mandatory training and access requirements.
- Managing rosters, leave requests, approvals and associated administrative processes.
- Maintaining electronic records, filing systems, databases and departmental registers.
- Coordinating room bookings, conferences, workshops, travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Processing purchasing and facilities requests and ensuring documentation is maintained within required timeframes.
- Building effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams and providing professional, confidential support.

About you:

We are looking for an organised and proactive administration skilled who enjoys working independently while building strong relationships across a busy multidisciplinary environment, with strengths in:

- High-level diary and meeting management.
- Minute taking and meeting coordination.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisation,



prioritisation and multitasking abilities.
- Room booking and administrative coordination.
- The ability to manage competing deadlines with accuracy and discretion.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships.
- A professional, confidential and solutions-focused approach.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
