About the Project: Jinbi Solar Farm
DT Infrastructure is delivering the 75MW Jinbi Solar Farm in Western Australia's Pilbara region, a landmark renewable energy project on Yindjibarndi Country. Comprising around 160,000 solar panels, the project will supply clean, reliable power to Rio Tinto's operations and play a key role in decarbonising the region while supporting long-term community and economic outcomes.
The Role
We are seeking a proactive Supervisor - Piling Tracker to drive day-to-day piling installation and mechanical tracker assembly across the solar array field.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating and supervising team members, piling rigs, and mechanical assembly crews in terms of time, cost, and quality to ensure structural tracking systems are installed safely and to exact engineering tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead site crews across driven, bored, and CFA piling, post-driving, and module-ready frame installations to meet daily production targets.
- Plan daily work schedules, manage piling rigs, allocate materials, and coordinate mechanical assembly tooling.
- Enforce strict WHS safety standards and resolve pile alignment, ground condition, or torque non-conformances quickly.
- Lead, train, and manage site crews and subcontractors to drive high productivity and build team morale.
- Liaise with superintendents and survey teams to verify piling tolerances, ground conditions, and tracker alignment.
- Track pile counts, maintain accurate daily production logs, and report progress to minimise delays.
- Ensure plant, machinery, and equipment are used safely, maintained properly, and demobilised efficiently.
Experience and Capabilities
- Proven experience as a supervisor in piling, foundations, civil, or renewable energy construction.
- Demonstrated track record managing piling operations, post-driving rigs, and tracker assembly.
- Strong leadership skills with a practical, hands-on approach to managing crews and subcontractors.
- Deep commitment to site safety, WHS compliance, and maintaining strict quality standards.
- Solid background in daily work planning, resource allocation, and plant/equipment management.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to manage stakeholders and overcome changing site conditions.
- Relevant industry licences, machinery tickets, and a valid driver's licence.
