About the Role:
This is an opportunity to shape a contemporary approach to workplace health, safety and wellbeing, with a particular focus on psychological health, occupational violence and aggression, and the prevention and management of psychosocial hazards.
You will work across the organisation to help create a workplace where people feel healthy, well and supported, while ensuring our approach to health and safety is practical, proactive and grounded in risk management.
As Senior Health, Safety and Wellbeing Partner, you will provide trusted strategic and operational advice to leaders, managers and teams across BPC. A key focus of the role will be strengthening our approach to psychological health and safety, including identifying, assessing and controlling psychosocial hazards and supporting the organisation to prevent and respond effectively to occupational violence and aggression.
What we are looking for:
You are an experienced health, safety and wellbeing professional who understands that psychological health is an essential part of workplace health and safety.
You bring strong technical expertise, but you are equally comfortable building relationships, influencing leaders and working with people through complex and sensitive situations.
You will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a senior health, safety, wellbeing or psychosocial risk role.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in psychosocial health and safety and occupational violence and aggression.
- Experience developing and implementing risk management strategies in a complex organisation.
- A strong understanding of Victorian OHS legislation and contemporary approaches to psychosocial safety
