Southwell Lifts & Hoists are seeking an in-field qualified installer to join our growing team. We produce high-quality equipment proudly manufactured in Narellan, NSW, and install and service our products across Australia and New Zealand. Some travel interstate will be required.
Key responsibilities
- Install and assemble hoists, lifts and associated equipment in accordance with manufacturer requirements
- Complete installation processes and procedures as required
- Interpret and work from engineering and installation drawings
- Ensure all installations comply with project specifications and quality requirements
- Work safely on customer sites and comply with all workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Document all work performed and complete required paperwork
- Maintain tools, equipment and vehicles in good working condition
- Liaise professionally with supervisors, team members and customers
- Maintain a clean,
organised and safe work area
About you
- Driver's licence
- Forklift licence
- White Card
- Working at Heights - preferred
- EWP - preferred
- Experience installing mechanical equipment, machinery, hoists, lifts or similar equipment
- Proficient in reading engineering and installation drawings
- Good mechanical aptitude and some fabrication knowledge
- Ability to work under direction from a supervisor
- Strong attention to detail
