MAC Inc. is the leading arts and culture provider in the eastern metropolitan region of Perth. We deliver diverse arts education and cultural programs via two venues; Mundaring and Midland Junction Arts Centres. Each year, our artistic program includes curated exhibitions, performances, workshops, artist talks and artist residencies. The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who will deliver high class customer service and administrative assistance within Midland Junction Arts Centre. The ideal candidate would have an eye for detail and a passion for the arts.

The Venue and Bookings Officer will work closely with the Business Operations team to oversee the smooth operation of Midland Junction Arts Centre and its venue hire program as well as assist in MAC incs. public programming events, performances and exhibitions.

HOW TO APPLY

Selection criteria:

1. Extensive experience in arts focused workplaces, events or venue operations.

2.



Demonstrated administrative experience including ability to manage schedules, event logistics and budgets

3. High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate a wide range of stakeholders

4. High level of computer literacy including MS Office. Experience in CRMs, scheduling and / or online retail platforms is highly desirable but not essential.

5. Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

*MAC Inc. is open 6 days a week and roles often require weekend and after hour availability. Please indicate your availability in your cover letter.

This position is partly funded by grants, and a 12-month contract will be offered to the successful applicant with a view to extend and/or offer a permanent position.
