What you’ll do:

We're looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of experience to play a key role in delivering a diverse portfolio of small to medium sustaining capital projects across the mining and minerals processing sector.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of technical engineering, client engagement, mentoring junior engineers, and providing practical solutions for operational sites. You'll have the opportunity to lead mechanical work packages, build long-term client relationships, and help drive successful project outcomes from concept through to execution.

- Provide Senior mechanical engineering delivery across sustaining capital and brownfields mining projects

- Develop and review engineering calculations, technical specifications, scopes of work, and design documentation

- Provide technical leadership for fixed plant and materials handling systems

- Support studies, investigations, detailed design, and execution phases of projects





- Mentor and support developing engineers within the Adelaide team

- Engage directly with clients to understand operational challenges and identify practical engineering solutions

- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including process, civil, structural, electrical, and project delivery professionals

- Support project planning, budgeting, risk management, and successful delivery of assigned work packages

- Participate in site visits, condition assessments, commissioning activities, and technical reviews as required

About you:

- Degree qualifications in Mechanical Engineering

- 10+ years of experience within mining, minerals processing, heavy industrial, or resources sectors

- Solid knowledge of fixed plant equipment and mining infrastructure

- Experience delivering sustaining capital, brownfields, or operational site projects

- Demonstrated ability to lead engineering packages and manage stakeholder relationships

- Strong understanding of Australian engineering standards and safe design principles

- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to project delivery

- Chartered Engineer status, or progress toward chartership, will be highly regarded
