Middleby Australia is a division of one of the world's leading suppliers of commercial foodservice equipment. Our range includes Goldstein cooking equipment, Eswood warewashers, Pitco fryers, Houno combis, Middleby Marshall pizza conveyors plus much more.

We are looking for a QLD Business Development Manager to join our Queensland sales team and drive growth through our dealers and distributors in the Queensland and northern NSW region. The role reports into the QLD State Sales Manager and is a key part of the national team and a global organization. Chef’s experience will be looked upon favourably.

The requirement of the role is to manage our existing distributors and generate sales and opportunities for key Middleby brands. Product demonstration and training is also an essential part of the role.

Responsibilities:

- Drive sales growth across your accounts and sales territory.

- Identify new and emerging markets and opportunities.

- Maintain and grow existing accounts.

- Visit customers across the state.

- Conduct product demonstrations and training to distributors and end-users.





Requirements:

- 3 years’ plus previous sales experience, preferably in the commercial food equipment market.

- Able to win new business and grow accounts.

- High energy and driven individual.

- Understanding of the food service equipment sales channel through this segment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Chef’s experience looked upon favourably.
