About the role

As one of our educators, you will build warm, respectful and responsive relationships with children, support children's learning through play, intentional teaching, choice and agency, and contribute to meaningful educational programs and reflective practice. You will maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment, actively contribute to supervision, child safety and risk-management practices, work collaboratively with educators, leaders and families, uphold Bambini's Child Safe Code of Conduct, professional boundaries and child protection responsibilities, and contribute your ideas, strengths and experience to the ongoing development of our service.

Key responsibilities

- Build warm, respectful and responsive relationships with children

- Support children's learning through play, intentional teaching, choice and agency

- Actively contribute to supervision, child safety and risk-management practices

- Work collaboratively with educators, leaders and families

- Uphold Bambini's Child Safe Code of Conduct, professional boundaries and child protection responsibilities

- Contribute your ideas, strengths and experience to the ongoing development of our service

About you

- Hold an ACEQCA-approved Certificate III or Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care

- Hold a current NSW Working with Children Check





- Have a genuine commitment to children's rights, safety and wellbeing

- Understand the importance of professional boundaries when working with children

- Are warm, reliable, engaged and willing to be an active member of a team

- Communicate respectfully and confidently with children, families and colleagues

- Have an understanding of the EYLF, National Quality Standard and your responsibilities as an early childhood educator

- Are open to feedback, professional learning and reflective practice
