We are currently seeking a motivated Fitter or someone with heavy industry mechanical experience to join our team in a permanent position. Offering a family-friendly roster, competitive rates, and excellent earning potential, this is a outstanding opportunity to secure long-term employment with a well-established operation.
- Additional $5.00/hr uplift on all claimable hours worked Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays)
- Out of Roster Shifts (Friday or Monday depending on roster cycle): $68.52/hr (150% of base rate)
Weekend & Public Holiday Rates:
- Saturday - First 3 hours: $68.52/hr. Remaining hours: $91.35/hr
- Sunday - $91.35/hr
- Public Holidays - $114.20/hr
What We're Looking For:
- Relevant mining or heavy industry experience highly regarded
- Trade qualified Diesel Fitter or relevant mechanical trade background
- Reliable, safety-focused, and committed to following site procedures
- Stable employment history preferred
- Candidates with limited experience will also be considered if they demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
- Preference will be given to candidates located in Mackay or within approximately 4-5 hours of the region
