A fantastic opportunity for an experienced learning and development qualified to lead the design, development and delivery of learning and capability-building initiatives that strengthen Queensland's community services sector and support workforce development priorities.

About the role
As Learning and Development Specialist, you will lead the design, development, delivery and evaluation of sector capability-building initiatives through the QCOSS Excellence Framework and other workforce development priorities. You will also lead the administration and continuous improvement of QCOSS' learning management system (Litmos) and work closely with community service organisations, government stakeholders and other stakeholders to strengthen capability across the sector.
About you
You are passionate about building capability, supporting workforce development and creating meaningful learning experiences that deliver impact. You have the following skills and experience:
- Relevant qualifications and expertise in learning design,
adult learning principles and the development of capability-building initiatives.
- Strong understanding of the Queensland community services operating environment, including the regulatory and practice frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing and delivering learning solutions across a range of formats.
- Experience administering LMSs and developing digital learning solutions using contemporary authoring tools.
- Highly developed interpersonal, presentation and engagement skills.
- Demonstrated project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High-level attention to detail and strong written communication skills.
- Commitment to social justice, QCOSS values and the role of the community services sector in delivering services to Queenslanders.
- Experience using Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics and Monday.com is highly desirable.
In addition, the following mandatory requirement applies:

- Full-time (38 hours per week) permanent position
- Salary:
QCOSS/TSU Enterprise Bargaining Agreement 2023 Level 7 – $129,734 to $135,159 per annum (dependent on relevant qualifications and experience)

- Adaptable working arrangements including work from home days, flex time and time off in lieu
- Opportunities to contribute to sector-wide capability building and workforce development initiatives across Queensland
