We are seeking a friendly and attentive Waiter/Waitress to join our team at TBBQ in Fitzroy, VIC. This is a part-time role, offering versatile schedule to suit your lifestyle. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
What you'll be doing
Greeting and seating customers in a warm and welcoming manner
Taking food and beverage orders and inputting them accurately into the system
Delivering food and drinks to tables in a timely and qualified manner
Responding to customer requests and addressing any concerns promptly
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Restocking and replenishing supplies as needed
Providing recommendations on menu items and specials
Assisting with general restaurant duties as required
Daily close cleaning
What we're looking for
Previous experience (2 years) as a Waiter/Waitress or in a customer service role. Fine dinning service and/or bartending experience would be ideal.

Punctuality is required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team and independently under pressure and fast-paced workplace
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities with CAN-DO attitude
Enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service
Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends (mainly for dinner service)
High level of self-awareness and accountability, with effective decision making skills.
A keen eye on detail to ensure customer being served well
A valid RSA certificate holder
Ability to work with POS system
Hands-on experience of managing reservations
Full availability over Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday
it is ideal if you can also speak Mandarin
