As a key member of our Day of Surgery team, you'll care for patients throughout their surgical journey, working alongside experienced clinicians in a fast-paced, skilled, and supportive environment. You'll be supported by management team, be part of a strong, innovative team and have the chance to grow as you support our patient's each day.
Key responsibilities
Deliver secure, researched-based standards of nursing care
Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
Act as a role model for Safe Practice
Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery
About you
Current Registration with AHPRA
Prior experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
Prior experience in a day surgery setting highly regarded
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills

Sippy Downs Day Surgery will be opening in November with 3 operating theatres providing surgical services to paediatric, adolescent and adult patients. Specialties include orthopaedics, endoscopy, plastics, pain management, oral & maxillofacial, paediatric dental.
