Haydays Retirement Hostel is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our small rural aged care team in Hay NSW.

We are looking for an RN who can provide protected, person-centred care and work closely with our care staff, residents, families, GPs and other health professionals.

Key responsibilities include:
resident assessment and care planning
medication management
wound care and clinical monitoring
responding to changes in resident health and wellbeing
supporting and guiding care staff on shift
maintaining accurate clinical documentation
contributing to quality improvement, incident management and continuous improvement
communicating with residents, families and health professionals

We are looking for:
current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
aged care experience preferred




valuable communication and documentation skills
ability to work independently and as part of a small team
a genuine interest in residential aged care
