About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join a leading Construction business in Mascot. This role supports the construction portfolio and involves managing collections, progress claims, and contract documentation.
This is an excellent prospect to contribute to a rapid-paced and growing team, starting off as a 4 month contract with the view to potentially estend or transition to a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee collections activities for construction-related projects
Administer and track progress claims, retentions, and bank guarantees
Liaise with internal stakeholders to manage new business onboarding and ensure documentation compliance
Ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping of contracts and claims
Support the transition to a more centralised construction collections process
Utilise Excel for reporting and reconciliation tasks
Assist with general contract administration as required
Key Requirements
Experience in a high volume credit/collections role
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
Exposure to SAP preferred but not essential
Exposure to construction is ideal but not essential
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
