MBATT Enterprises Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced HC/MC Driver with an open licence and the ability to operate an 18 speed Roadrunner Gear Box to join our growing team in Brisbane, QLD. As a full time role, you will play a crucial part in the road transport operations of our company, ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of goods across both locally and intra/Interstate routes and other parts of the region.
What you'll be doing
Operate heavy commercial vehicles (HC/MC) to transport a variety of goods and materials
Transport general and container freight across various delivery routes
Conduct pre-departure checks and maintenance on assigned vehicles
Adhere to all traffic rules, regulations and safety protocols to ensure the secure transportation of cargo
Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
Liaise with dispatch and customers to coordinate efficient deliveries
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our road transport operations
What we're looking for
Valid HC/MC driver's licence with a minimum of 3 years' experience driving heavy commercial vehicles
Thorough knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
Robust customer service orientation and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to workplace health and safety
Australian work rights are required for this position
