The Role
Reporting through to the Payroll Manager, your tasks will include:
Being the 2IC and acting as a senior stakeholder in the payroll team
Managing end-to-end payroll processing of approximately 4,500 employees on a fortnightly basis
Processing and calculating superannuation, payroll tax/PAYG
Month/year end closing
Assisting with key payroll projects
Identifying process improvements
Ensuring compliance with payroll related legislation
Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business
Partnering and developing robust internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
Working collaboratively and as a team across departments
Candidate ProfileYou will have prior experience in a similar Payroll position, along with the following attributes:
High volume payroll experience within a medium / large scale organisation
Proven experience with a large software packages such as SuccessFactors, Dayforce, iChris, UKG
Ability to work in a quick paced environment
Knowledge of multiple awards/EBAs
High level analytical skills
Solid working knowledge of Excel
