Tsukumi Sushi is looking for reliable and hardworking kitchen staff to join our new Strathpine store, which is expected to open in early October.
Successful applicants will initially receive training at our existing Mount Ommaney or Wynnum store. After completing the training, they will transfer to the new Strathpine store and become part of the opening team.
Main Duties:
Preparing sushi ingredients and other kitchen items
Making sushi rolls and hot food
Following food safety and hygiene procedures
Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
Assisting with stock preparation and storage
Working efficiently with other team members during busy periods
What We Are Looking For:
Reliable, punctual and responsible
Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Willing to learn and follow standard recipes and procedures
Good teamwork and a positive attitude
Available to work versatile shifts, including weekends
Previous kitchen or sushi-making experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided
