As an Electronic Technician you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, troubleshooting and repair of electronic products and systems to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble, test and calibrate electronic products and assemblies
Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electronic faults to component level
Interpret circuit diagrams, schematics and technical documentation
Use test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators and power supplies
Ensure all work meets quality standards and is completed on time
Maintain accurate records of work performed and test results
Identify and report improvement opportunities
Follow ESD, safety and quality procedures at all times
Work collaboratively with the production and engineering teams
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Certificate IV in Electronics and Communications (or equivalent)
Proven experience as an Electronic or Production Technician
Strong knowledge of analogue and digital electronics
Experience with SMD rework, through-hole assembly and hand soldering
Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical documents
Good fault finding and problem solving skills
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
