We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our team at a busy Indian restaurant.

Duties include:
Assisting chefs with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks
Washing dishes, utensils, pots and pans
Keeping the kitchen, preparation areas and equipment clean and organised
Assisting with receiving, unpacking and storing deliveries
Preparing vegetables, ingredients and other food items as directed
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and workplace cleanliness
Taking out rubbish and keeping waste areas clean
Following food safety, cleaning and workplace health and safety procedures
Supporting chefs and other kitchen staff during busy service periods
Completing general kitchen cleaning and other duties as required

About you:
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Able to work in a rapid-paced kitchen workplace
Valuable teamwork and communication skills
Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential
Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
