This is a FIFO role, with options for remote exploration or mine site-based on variety of roster rotations.
As a Drillers Offsider you will be supporting the driller with general operations duties:
Rod handling
Rig maintenance
Bagging samples
Cleaning equipment
Providing support to drilling operations
Mobilization and demobilization of drill rigs from sites
This is a very physically demanding position! Not entry level to labouring To be successful in the role;
Reside in Perth WA, as this role is FIFO from Perth Airport.
Previous experience in physical demanding position, and being able to lift up to 40kgs
HR-B Driver’s License – for surface roles
Willing to work on either a 2:1, or 4:2 roster on various projects across WA
Current National Police Clearance – Within 6 months
First Aid Certificate
Must be able to pass a comprehensive re-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
Not entry level to laboring and physically demanding setting
