CASHIER

we are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking person to join our team as a Cashier / Customer Service Team Member.

This is a busy fruit and grocery store, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a quick-paced environment and enjoys dealing with customers. The role will involve serving customers at the checkout, operating the register and EFTPOS, handling cash and card payments, weighing and pricing fruit and vegetables, and making sure customers receive friendly and efficient service.

You will also be expected to keep the checkout area/store clean and organised, assist customers with their enquiries and help other team members when required. As we are a busy store,



being able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude is important.

The ideal person will be reliable, punctual, honest, friendly and well-presented, with positive communication skills and a robust work ethic. Previous cashier, retail or customer service experience is preferred, however, training can be provided for the right person.

You must be able to work as part of a team, follow instructions and provide excellent customer service. Availability to work weekends and flexible hours is an advantage.
