We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Pick & Pack Team Member to join our wholesale fruit and vegetable team. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for picking and packing fresh produce according to customer orders.
Your main responsibility will be to read order sheets carefully, pick the correct fruit and vegetables, check quantities and pack each order ready for delivery. Attention to detail is very significant, as orders need to be accurate and packed correctly for our wholesale customers.
The role involves working with a wide range of fresh fruit and vegetables in a busy wholesale environment. You will be required to lift and move boxes and crates of produce, organise orders and keep the work area clean and tidy. You will also need to check the quality of produce and make sure only suitable, fresh stock is packed for customers.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, hardworking and physically fit, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. You must be able to follow instructions, work efficiently and pay close attention to detail when preparing orders.
Previous experience in a fruit and vegetable shop, warehouse, wholesale business or picking and packing role is an advantage. Experience with fresh produce is highly regarded, but training can be provided to the right person.
