My Outstanding Bookkeeper is looking for a friendly, reliable and experienced bookkeeper to join our team.

This is a fully remote, work-from-home position, but it’s very much a “working together” role. You’ll be working from your home office while I’m working from mine, and we’ll be in regular contact throughout the day.

The role is Monday to Friday during normal daytime business hours.

Please note that this is not an after hours adaptable-hours position. You’ll need to be online, available and working with me during the agreed business hours. The work isn’t suitable for someone looking to complete their hours at night or after hours.

A little about what we’re looking for

We’d love to find someone who is confident, experienced and comfortable getting into their work without needing to be taught the basics.

You’ll need:
At least 5 years of solid, hands-on Xero experience
Previous experience using Hubdoc
A positive typing speed and confidence using the home keys
Strong attention to detail
Valuable communication skills
The ability to follow instructions carefully
A reliable home office setup
To be dependable, punctual and available during business hours





This role is best suited to an experienced bookkeeper who already knows their way around Xero and bookkeeping. It isn’t an entry-level or training position, so we do need someone who can come in with a solid understanding of what they’re doing, follow our processes and instructions, and confidently get on with the job.

That doesn’t mean you’ll be left on your own. I’ll be there working alongside you remotely, answering questions and helping you learn how we do things. We just need you to already have the bookkeeping and Xero experience behind you.

We’re a small business, so finding the right person is really important to us. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, communicates well and would like a stable role where we can work together each day — just from our own separate offices.
