The Workforce Planning and Versatile Work Arrangement Officer is responsible for the coordination and delivery of high-quality administrative, rostering and workforce planning support services within the region, including the day-to-day management of versatile work arrangement requests. The role provides high-level support to regional management through the preparation of reports, correspondence and workforce planning documentation, while monitoring rosters, staffing requirements and workforce data to support effective operational service delivery. The position also liaises with key stakeholders, maintains workforce planning systems and records, and contributes to the continuous improvement of processes, compliance and service outcomes in accordance with QAS policies, industrial instruments and organisational values.

We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
Demonstrated high-level administrative and organisational skills, including the ability to coordinate complex processes, manage records and documentation, and maintain accurate systems and databases.
Demonstrated knowledge of workforce planning, rostering and flexible work arrangement processes, including the ability to interpret and apply relevant industrial awards,



agreements, policies and procedures.
Well-developed communication, negotiation, consultation and collaboration skills, with the proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Well-developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret workforce data, identify issues, develop practical solutions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team-oriented team, while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and a commitment to equity, diversity, cultural capability and workplace safety.

The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:
The incumbent may be required to travel on official business and the possession of a C class driver's licence may be required.
