About the role
DGK Architects is a boutique architectural design studio specialising in high-end, luxury residential architecture and select commercial projects. We operate in a fast-paced environment where speed, efficiency, and accuracy are essential to achieving project milestones. We are seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Senior Architectural Draftsperson / Revit Documenter to work and report directly under the Studio Director. This is a role for a proactive professional who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate consultants, and resolve technical detailing challenges.
Your next role key responsibilities:
Produce comprehensive construction documentation and working drawings predominantly for luxury residential projects, with minor commercial work.
Develop highly detailed interior drawings, custom cabinetry, and intricate joinery detailing packages.
Navigate local council planning policies, demonstrating a strong understanding of the Residential Design Codes and DA Approval requirements.
Ensure all documentation complies with National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian Standards.
Manage and implement BIM processes and Revit Standards across projects.
Coordinate consultant packages to ensure seamless project integration.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a quick-paced studio environment.
About you
8+ years of proven experience as an architectural draftsperson/Revit documenter within Western Australia (luxury residential experience is highly regarded).
Advanced proficiency in Revit along with a strong working knowledge of BIM workflows is essential.
Competency across supporting software, including AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, D5 Render (not essential), and the Microsoft Office suite.
Proficiency and understanding in construction systems and technical detailing, including custom interior joinery and high-end residential finishes.
Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
Solid communication skills to liaise with consultants and builders where required.
Ability to work both independently and within a team setting.
Must hold a valid driver's license and have a reliable car.
