COOK Location: West End, Brisbane Employment Type: Casual About the Role We are looking for an experienced and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team. We are a busy restaurant that takes pride in serving quality, food. We are looking for someone who is confident working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in their food and presentation, and works well as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Preparing and cooking dishes to our recipes and standards Preparing ingredients, sauces, marinades and kitchen components Maintaining consistent food quality, presentation and portion control Working efficiently during busy service periods Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen Assisting with stock rotation, storage and preparation Minimising food wastage Working collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams Following directions from the Head Chef / Kitchen Manager Assisting with general kitchen duties as required About You We are looking for someone who:



Has previous commercial kitchen experience Is confident working in a busy restaurant environment Has good knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques Can work efficiently under pressure Has excellent attention to detail Takes pride in producing high-quality food Is reliable, punctual and well presented Works well within a team Has a positive attitude and solid work ethic Understands food safety and hygiene requirements Is available to work weekends and busy service periods Greek or Mediterranean cooking experience is highly regarded but not essential.
