The Role

We need confident, experienced cooks who can step into a kitchen, take operational control, and manage daily service with ease.

Key Responsibilities
Independent Kitchen Management: Run daily operations, manage workflow, prep, and clean-down with full autonomy.




Nutritious Meals: Prepare up to 3 fresh, wholesome, and appetising meals per day for young children.
Dietary & Allergen Management: Confidently navigate dietary requirements, allergen matrixes, and cultural preferences.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain top-tier hygiene, food safety standards, and accurate kitchen logs.

What You Need to Succeed
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) with proven experience in commercial, hospitality, or institutional kitchens.
Food Safety: Valid Protected Food Handling Certificate or Food Safety Supervisor qualification.
Child Safety: Completed Child Protection & Foundations of Child Safety Training (free online training provided upon joining).

Compliance & Availability

Valid Working with Children Check, valid Australian work rights, and availability for at least 2 shifts per week across Melbourne.
