An immediate prospect is available for a reliable barber or men’s hairdresser to join a qualified barbershop in central Gunnedah NSW.

What is offered:

• up to $40 per hour casual rate including casual loading

• Superannuation

• Applicable Award penalty rates and overtime

• Approximately 44 paid hours available each week

• Up to six weeks of temporary accommodation for applicants relocating from outside Gunnedah or Tamworth

• Relocation and transport assistance can be discussed

• Immediate start

• Potential for an ongoing long term position

The role includes:

• Men’s cuts, fades, buzz cuts and children’s cuts

• Clipper work, scissor work and basic styling

• Welcoming customers and managing walk ins

• Processing cash and card payments

• Opening and closing the shop

• Maintaining a clean, hygienic and skilled workspace





The usual roster consists of full day shifts from Tuesday to Saturday and a shorter four hour Sunday shift.

Applicants must be reliable, professional and confident performing men’s haircuts independently. Formal qualifications are preferred but not essential if you can demonstrate suitable practical skills and experience.

Working holiday visa holders with valid Australian working rights are welcome to apply.
