I'm looking for the right driver to start working with a new and growing courier business.
To be upfront, I don't currently have full time work available.
I'm ideally looking for someone already operating independently through gig apps, Airtasker or similar, with their own suitable vehicle and the flexibility to take on additional work as required.
I already have a solid base of recurring B2B work, with new customers now coming onboard requiring scheduled, same-day and urgent deliveries.
Most of the work originates around Melbourne's south-east and eastern suburbs, particularly Dandenong, Bayswater and surrounding industrial areas, although deliveries can take us anywhere across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
The freight varies considerably, including cartons, pallets, fencing and general commercial goods.
Initially,
I'm looking for someone who can assist with existing requirements while also becoming one of my first options for current work coming into the business.
This is still a startup, so there aren't guaranteed full-time hours from day one.
But there is genuine room to grow with the business as I continue servicing these customers, bringing recent ones onboard and building the workload.
Ideally, I'm looking for someone already working independently who wants to keep doing their own thing, while having the opportunity to grow into something more consistent over time.
