We are looking for a responsible and experienced Safety Officer to join our team.
The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring a safe working workplace, identifying workplace hazards, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety requirements. The role will also involve conducting toolbox talks and safety inductions, investigating incidents, maintaining safety records, and promoting secure work practices among employees and contractors.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience in a Safety Officer or similar role.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
Solid communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to conduct risk assessments and safety inspections.
Relevant safety qualifications/certifications preferred.
Ability to work effectively with employees, contractors, and management.
