We are a busy Clinic with Clinics in Launceston and Burnie. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-focused environment with modern equipment and collaborative, qualified team. You will be an integral part of our patient focused team.

• One hour time slots are scheduled for all Echo studies with a maximum 8 echos per day.

• Massage is provided on a regular basis to help avoid injury.

Key responsibilities:

• Independently perform high quality echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.

• Experience in GLS, CRT, 3-D,



and adult congenital echo would be an advantage but not essential

• Independently complete comprehensive echocardiographic reports considering all clinical measurements and current ASE guidelines.

• Assist with transoesophageal echo, ECGs, holter monitors.

• Involvement in regular regional clinics in Northern Tasmania.

About you:

• Considerable clinical experience in echocardiography and cardiac testing

• Outstanding diagnostic and analytical skills

• Clear patient focused care providing patient comfort, confidentiality and empathetic care during all procedures

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Solid cooperative teamwork skills and work ethic

• An ability to analyse Holter would be viewed favourably, but is not essential.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• ASAR Accreditation in Cardiac Ultrasound

• Criminal record check prior to commencement of employment

• Registered under Working with Vulnerable People Act

• Up to date Immunisation status (COVID, Hep B, influenza etc.)

• Current driver’s licence
