Crawford's Mechanical Solutions is a locally owned mechanical business in Cobram, Victoria, specialising in automotive servicing and repairs, marine ski boat maintenance, small engineering and custom mechanical work.
We are looking for a qualified mechanic to join our small, hands-on team.
This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their workmanship and likes getting stuck into jobs that are a little outside the ordinary.
About the role
The role will involve a wide-ranging mix of:
Automotive servicing, diagnostics and repairs
General mechanical repairs and maintenance
Marine ski boat servicing, repairs and maintenance
Fault finding and diagnostics
Small engineering and fabrication work
Custom mechanical work and modifications
General workshop duties and problem solving
No two days are necessarily the same, and we are looking for someone who enjoys that variety.
About you
We are looking for a qualified mechanic who:
Has relevant trade qualifications and experience
Has robust mechanical diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Takes pride in quality workmanship
Can work independently and as part of a small team
Is reliable, practical and willing to have a go
Is comfortable working across automotive and marine applications
Has an interest in engineering, fabrication or custom work
Marine experience would be highly regarded, but is not essential for the right applicant. We are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, mechanical ability and willingness to learn.
