A Life Plus is a Sydney-based ready-meal production and delivery company operating from our facility in Botany. We prepare, cook, portion, pack and dispatch meals in-house and are looking for an experienced QA Manager to help maintain solid food safety, quality and production standards as we continue to grow.

This is a hands-on role. You will spend significant time on the production floor working directly with our cooking, preparation and packing teams, making sure food safety and quality standards are consistently followed.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain and monitor HACCP and food safety requirements
Conduct quality checks across food preparation, cooking, cooling, packing and storage
Review temperature logs, batch records and traceability documentation
Monitor cleaning, sanitation and allergen controls
Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions
Create, update and improve SOPs, QA checklists and production procedures
Prepare for internal and external food safety audits
Train and coach production staff on food safety and quality standards
Investigate recurring production and product quality issues
Help improve consistency,



reduce errors and strengthen quality systems as production grows

About You You should have previous QA or food quality experience within food manufacturing, commercial kitchens, catering, ready-meal production or another high-volume food workplace.

Experience with HACCP, food safety systems, traceability, temperature control, allergen management and production documentation is highly valued.

Food Safety Supervisor certification or a similar Australian food safety qualification is desirable.

We are looking for someone practical, detail-oriented and confident working directly with a production team. You should be proactive, comfortable holding standards, and focused on fixing problems rather than simply reporting them.
