Contract: 2 months + 12-month extension

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Advisor to support the Federal team with IRAP readiness, ISM compliance and security posture uplift .

Key Responsibilities
Provide cyber security advice across security, risk and compliance.
Assess controls against ACSC ISM, SSPA and ASD updates .
Identify security gaps and recommend remediation measures.
Develop and maintain SRMP, SSP, SSPA, Continuous Monitoring, Change Management, DR/BC and Incident Response Plans .
Support IRAP assessment preparation and ongoing security assurance.
Assess infrastructure vulnerabilities and application security issues.
Support implementation of Essential Eight controls.

ServiceNow Experience – Highly Desirable
Solid ServiceNow Cyber Security / SecOps experience.




Experience with Vulnerability Management, Incident Response and Security Posture Uplift .
Experience implementing and assessing security controls within ServiceNow.
Experience securing and assessing ServiceNow instances .

Required
IRAP Category A/B membership , OR 5+ years ICT experience including 2+ years in information security.
Solid knowledge of ISM, SSPA, Essential Eight and Australian Government security requirements .
Solid security governance, risk assessment and documentation skills.
