Lead Agent Builder - Gemini Enterprise

We're an Australian AI consultancy building production-grade AI agents for leading transformative clients across Australia and Recent Zealand. We need a Lead Agent Builder who lives inside the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (formerly Vertex AI) and can take an agent from whiteboard sketch to governed, monitored, enterprise deployment.

What you'll do
Design, build and deploy enterprise AI agents on the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform - from single-task agents to multi-agent systems
Ground agents in client business data (RAG, connectors, governed data sources) so outputs are trustworthy, not theatrical
Build evaluation, governance and optimisation loops - agents that hallucinate in production get us all fired
Work directly with client stakeholders: discovery, solution design, demos, and the occasional gentle expectation recalibration
Set our internal agent-building standards, reusable patterns, and mentor the next wave of builders

What you'll bring




Hands-on experience building and shipping agents on Google Cloud - Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Vertex AI Agent Builder, or the Agent Development Kit (ADK)
Robust Python, API integration, and grounding/RAG experience
A working grip on agent governance, evaluation and observability (not just making demos)
Consulting instincts: you can hold a room, write a scope, and tell a client "no" without losing the account
