Tasks:
Prepare and draft environmental assessment reports or sections of reports (under part 4, 5 or 3A). Such reports may include REFs, EISs, part 3A environmental assessments and EMPs
Prepare and draft other project documentation and correspondence
Prepare and provide environmental advice to clients
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and work co-operatively with people at all levels to achieve outcomes
Manage multiple tasks on a range of projects and effectively deal with conflicting priorities and work to tight deadlines
Ensure compliance with quality management system requirements
Communicate and maintain valuable relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, suppliers and project stakeholders
Proactive in managing utilisation/budget and takes corrective action if necessary, in consultation with the project manager and/or project leader
Provide inputs to project progress reports for issue to clients
Undertake other work as required by the relevant project manager and/or project leader
Requirements
About You:
Relevant tertiary qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organised and diligent in project administration (including invoicing and budget administration)
Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
Good team work skills and ability to work well under pressure
Understand the need for discretion when dealing with confidential matters
High levels of flexibility with an affinity for working on several projects at once
Have a strong background in NSW and ACT environmental planning and assessment, including a solid understanding of the requirements of the NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and the ACT Planning and Development Act 2007
