Bells Civil Excavations is seeking an experienced Tractor Operator to join our Verge Mowing & Vegetation Management team for the upcoming mowing season.
This position will initially run throughout our peak mowing season from approximately October through to December, with the chance for ongoing work.
We are looking for an experienced, reliable operator who is confident working independently and takes pride in producing a high standard of work.
The Role
Works will include:
Operating reach arm mowers
Operating slashers
Tractor operation
Working around roadsides and public infrastructure
Daily plant checks and basic equipment care
Working alongside our civil and traffic management crews where required
About you
To be successful, you will ideally have:
Previous experience operating tractors and mowing equipment
Reach arm mower experience highly regarded
Slasher experience
Experience undertaking roadside or large-scale vegetation maintenance
White card
Solid awareness of workplace and roadside safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and a good work ethic
Pride in your equipment and the quality of your work
Experience within civil construction, council maintenance, roadside vegetation management or similar environments will be highly regarded.
