About the Role:

The D’Arcy Arms, located on the beautiful Gold Coast, is seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality cuisine to our guests, ensuring all dishes consistently meet our standards for taste, presentation and quality, while contributing to the efficient and smooth operation of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
Assist with the preparation of a la carte dishes and menu items for special occasions and functions.
Maintain consistency and quality across all dishes prepared in the kitchen.
Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised, and compliant with local health and safety regulations.
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and receiving food items.
Support the management of food costs to remain within budget.
Maintain kitchen equipment and report any faults or required repairs.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient kitchen operations.




Foster positive relationships with both staff and patrons.
Undertake other duties as required by the Manager.

About You: The successful candidate will be a self-starter with:
Proven culinary experience and robust technical cooking skills.
Knowledge of food preparation, hygiene standards, and protected food handling practices.
The ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
A team-focused approach and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
Creativity and knowledge of flavours, ingredients, and presentation.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing requirements or special events.
A willingness to contribute across all areas of kitchen operations.

Salary ranging from $75,000 - $77,000
