The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Graduate Accountant to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative boutique firm workplace where you will gain exposure to a broad range of clients and advisory work.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will work closely with senior team members and partners across a range of accounting and advisory matters, including:
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
Business advisory and taxation services
BAS and IAS preparation and lodgment
Tax planning and compliance
Assisting with business advisory engagements
Liaising directly with clients and providing ongoing support
Keeping abreast of changes in taxation legislation and accounting standards
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
A degree in Accounting
A positive attitude and great willingness to learn
Intention to complete CA or CPA qualification
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong communication and client relationship skills
Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
