The opportunity
Veritas foods is seeking a passionate and dedicated Kitchen Assistant/Piping Assistant to join our team in Homebush, NSW. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our talented chefs in delivering exceptional ready meal to families across australia.

What you'll be doing
Assist our chefs with food preparation and plating meals .
Prep/ cook kids meals/ baked goods and pipe puree into trays.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, ensuring all work surfaces, equipment and utensils are kept spotless
Accurately follow recipes and preparation instructions provided by the chefs
Stock and restock kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed
Comply with all health and safety regulations to ensure a protected working setting
Provide exceptional customer service to our diners when interacting with them in the kitchen

What we're looking for
Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or Preparation Cook in a fast-paced commercial kitchen workplace
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
Excellent time management and organisational skills
A keen interest in food and cooking,



with a passion for providing high-quality food
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards and Haccp procedures.
