Position Available: We are seeking an Operations Specialist to join our team at Villawood, NSW. This full time, permanent role is ideal for someone with a positive, can-do attitude and prior experience in transport, particularly with bulk fluids.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan resources, allocate fleet, and coordinate overall transport movements.
Manage day-to-day operations involving road, rail, and wharf services.
Ensure timely and effective scheduling with explicit communication.
Plan maintenance with the Workshop/Washbay.
Liaise with clients and internal key management.
Prepare relevant transport documentation and paperwork.
Provide safety-focused leadership.
Create jobs in our Transport Management System (TMS).
Assist other team members and departments as needed.
Candidate Attributes:
Prior knowledge of transport and supply chain.
Reliable, versatile, and team-oriented mindset.
High attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft programs.
Excellent time management skills.
