Warehouse all rounder position at Drums R Us Guildford store. The role involves working in a busy warehouse setting, handling recycled packaging materials including IBCs, plastic drums and metal drums. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm and Sat 9am to 2pm.
Key responsibilities
Washing IBC using an automated high-pressure washer
Loading and unloading stock off trucks, including manual loading onto pallets
Prepare and pick orders for delivery
Drive the company truck to delivery and pickup stock when required
Customer sales and enquiries, both in store and over the phone
Using power tools to modify stock into garden pots, tap drums and chicken feeders
Operational maintenance and cleaning of the warehouse
About you
Forklift licence along with experience using a forklift
Car licence with positive driving record
Able to work independently including open/closing the warehouse, if required
Comfortable manual handling empty metal and plastic drums 3kg – 22kg
Ability to safely use power tools, such as a pressure washer, drill and jigsaw
Ability to learn quickly with a wide range of products from different suppliers
Ability to work quickly and efficiently, multiple tasks with tight deadlines and ability to focus
Well developed customer-service skills
No criminal record in the last 10 years
