Lead complex behaviour support practice and shape high-quality outcomes.We're seeking a permanent, full-time Advanced (Complex) Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner to deliver high-level, evidence-based behaviour support for people with disability, families and teams.
This is an opportunity to step into a practice leadership role, supporting complex presentations, mentoring practitioners and contributing to system-level change that enhances rights, quality of life and ethical practice.
This hybrid role must be located in Cairns, Mackay, Townsville or Rockhampton.

support staff and managers to support ethical implementation of plansProvide clinical supervision and practice leadership to core and proficient practitionersEnsure high-quality restrictive practice reporting and compliance with NDIS Commission and legislative requirements, including tribunal support as neededContribute to policy, practice development and service growth, supporting quality, compliance and customer outcomesAbout YouYou're a confident, values-driven PBS practitioner who thrives in complex clinical environments.
You bring strong critical thinking skills, sound judgement and a genuine commitment to protecting the rights and quality of life of people with disability.You are known for:Advanced knowledge of the PBS Capability Framework and evidence baseEthical decision-making and strong analytical skills in complex situationsThe ability to lead, influence and support practice changeClear, professional communication and strong stakeholder relationshipsDelivering high-quality PBS in complex clinical contexts, with a strong understanding of restrictive practices legislation, safeguards and ethical practiceProviding confident practice leadership through supervision and development of PBS practitioners,
while managing competing priorities and maintaining a strong focus on quality outcomesWhat you need:Postgraduate qualification and/or registration with a recognised authorising body (preferred)Registered PBS Practitioner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (required by end of probation)Evidence of Proficient Practitioner status or working towards Advanced levelEvidence of providing supervision to core or proficient practitionersCurrent Open Driver's Licence (access to car)Current paid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working with Children CheckWhy Multicap?

We are building a energetic hub of excellence in Clinical Practice, with supervisors and senior clinicians on staff to support and mentor you.
You will be joining a team who have studied (or are currently studying!) the same coursework as you – we 'get' good clinical practice and know how to support emerging clinicians.
