The organisation specialises in secure, large-scale technology environments and mission-critical systems.About the End ClientYou will support a major government-focused organisation operating within a highly secure and regulated setting, undertaking modernisation of its messaging and integration platforms.Role OverviewLead assessment, migration, and validation of ~150 IBM DataPower services from X2 to X4 with minimal disruption.Key ResponsibilitiesDiscovery & Planning Assess 150 services, configurations, dependencies, and integrationsDocument certificates, backends,



and loggingDevelop phased migration and rollback planIdentify deprecated features and required fixesMigration ExecutionMigrate services across non-prod and production (parallel approach)Backup, export, and re-import configurations, certificates, and keysEnsure version control, traceability, and documentationDeploy services "as-is" and integrate monitoring/loggingTesting & OptimisationSupport unit and integration testingTroubleshoot and fix migration issuesAssist with performance tuning and stabilisationRequired Skills & Experience10+ years IT experienceStrong IBM DataPower expertise (mandatory)Experience in large-scale service migrationSolid knowledge of APIs, security (certs/TLS), and integrationsStrong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skillsBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
