We want a software engineer who knows their craft deeply, who has built real things the hard way, and who now uses AI as a sharp tool to do even more.The roleYou will work alongside our Head of Software & AI across both customer-facing products and internal tooling, from agentic workflows and automation engines to the systems that thousands of decisions flow through.
You will ship real things, see them used quickly, and have a direct line to the people setting the direction.ResponsibilitiesDesigning and building features across our customer and internal platformsIntegrating large language models and APIs into production‐grade toolsBuilding and deploying containerised services with Docker and KubernetesWriting well‐tested, maintainable code and helping uphold solid engineering practicesWorking within an Agile (Scrum) team, planning and shipping in regular cyclesCollaborating with product, cloud and cybersecurity teams to turn ideas into working softwareBringing your own ideas to the table and seeing them triedQualificationsStrong experience building and shipping production softwareA genuine grasp of software engineering fundamentals: sound architecture and design, knowing when and how to apply patterns,



writing code that is testable and easy for others to change, and the judgement to pick the right approach rather than the fashionable oneConfidence across a contemporary language.
