Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a broad and substantive role with responsibility for the financial management, reporting and compliance of the business.
You will lead the Finance and Systems team working closely with the Partners, providing strategic financial advice while leading the operational day‐to‐day finance function.What you'll be doingYou will lead the finance function across:Financial reporting — monthly, quarterly and annual accounts, general ledger integrity and management reportingBoard reporting — preparing clear financial analysis, insights and performance reportingBudgeting, forecasting, cash flow and working capital managementDevelopment of the annual financial business plan and targetsCompliance and taxation, including Payroll Tax and BAS lodgement, ATO obligations and liaison with external accountants and advisorsManaging accounts payable, receivable and payrollAsset register maintenance and capital expenditure oversightInsurance, leases and supplier relationship managementAbout youTo be successful in this role, you should have:A degree in Accounting,



Finance or a related discipline, and CA or CPA qualificationMinimum 5 years' experience in a finance management role, ideally within a consulting businessStrong capability across management and financial reporting, AP/AR, payroll and tax complianceProven experience in budgeting, forecasting and cash flow managementExperience supporting business planning and strategic decision-making at a senior levelStrong systems capability — minimum 2 years' experience using MYOB AccountRight and advanced Excel skills.
