We're building the next generation of better-for-you products, licensed brands and innovative food ranges that will be sold across supermarkets, convenience stores, airlines, foodservice and retailers throughout Australia.We're looking for an experienced New Product Development Manager to help bring those ideas to life.This is a brand-new role working directly with our COO, taking products from the first sketch on a whiteboard all the way to supermarket shelves.If you love creating products, solving problems and making things happen, keep reading.Daniel's Donuts has grown from one small store into one of Australia's fastest-growing bakery manufacturers.Today we supply our own stores, major retailers, supermarkets, convenience chains, foodservice customers and airlines across the country—and we're only just getting started.Innovation is a huge part of what we do, and we're investing heavily in new categories including:High-protein and better-for-you productsLicensed brandsExciting new food categories beyond donutsThat's where you come in.What you'll be doingDevelop exciting new better-for-you and non-core food productsTurn concepts into commercially viable products customers loveSource and qualify contract manufacturers in Australia and overseasManage factory trials, product testing and first production runsOwn specifications, nutritional panels, allergens, shelf-life and regulatory complianceWork closely with Procurement, Operations,



Sales and Marketing to deliver successful launchesKeep projects moving quickly while balancing quality, cost and timelinesHelp shape the future product roadmap for Daniel'sWhat we're looking forA degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field (you know your way around the science of great food!)Around 3–5 years of experience bringing delicious food products to lifeA proven track record of turning great ideas into successful products on the shelfExperience working with contract manufacturers and building strong production partnershipsSolid knowledge of FSANZ standards, food labelling, and regulatory requirements—you keep us compliant while keeping things tastyExperience with high-protein, functional, or better-for-you products?
