With a strong market presence, experienced and forward thinking executive team, our client continues to invest in its people, products and operational capability to be a true market leader.The OpportunityReporting to the Senior Supply Chain Finance Manager and with a dotted line to the CFO, this role plays a key part in delivering accurate financial reporting, forecasting and commercial insights across manufacturing and supply chain operations.
You'll work closely with operational leaders to understand business drivers, improve financial performance and support informed decision-making across the organisation.
This is an excellent prospect for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with the business, analysing operational performance and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic FMCG environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct monthly reconciliations of contracted supplier processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial recordsDevelop, maintain and review standard costing models, ensuring Bills of Material and production routings accurately reflect manufacturing costsSupport month-end close activities, including accruals, prepayments and variance analysisInvestigate financial and operational variances,



identifying root causes and recommending corrective actionsIdentify forecast risks and opportunities to improve financial accuracy and support proactive decision-makingPartner with manufacturing and site leadership teams to improve understanding of key financial and operational metricsProduce and maintain weekly manufacturing KPI reporting, providing insights into cost performance and operational efficiencySupport budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, capital planning and long-term financial planning activitiesAssist with product costing and broader finance team initiatives as requiredDeliver financial education and process training to internal stakeholders to enhance commercial understanding across the businessAbout YouWe are keen to hear from finance professionals who bring a blend of technical capability, commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills.
You will ideally possess:Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or a related disciplinePrevious experience in a commercial finance, analyst or management accounting capacityExperience within an FMCG, manufacturing or supply chain environmentStrong analytical skills and an ability to translate financial data into practical business insightsExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilityWell-developed interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders across varying levels of the organisationA proactive approach to continuous improvement and process optimisationWhat's on OfferCBD Location$100,000 - $120,000 + Superannuation + STI BonusOpportunity to work for a leading FMCG organisationExposure to senior operational and finance stakeholdersBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
