If you're interested in another area, please get in touch—we'd love to hear from you.Who We're Looking ForWe're seeking reliable, professional electricians who:Hold a current Electrical LicenceAre safety focusedDeliver quality workmanshipEnjoy working independentlyProvide excellent customer serviceExperience in Smart Metering is highly regarded but not essential.Licensed electricians looking to transition into the smart metering industry are strongly encouraged to apply.




TECA can provide support throughout the onboarding process to help you get started.Minimum RequirementsPrior to commencing work you'll be required to provide:Current Australian Driver LicenceCurrent Electrical LicenceConstruction White CardNational Police Check (less than six months old)Asbestos Awareness TrainingCPR & Low Voltage RescueTesting of ConnectionsFirst Aid in an ESI EnvironmentInterval Metering qualifications (171A, 60A, UEEEL****, UEEEL0078 or equivalent)Network authorisations (preferred)Applicants must also have:Registered Pty Ltd CompanyAppropriate insurances (including Workers Compensation where applicable)Reliable work vehicleTools and PPEAnnual refresher training is required for CPR, LVR, Testing of Connections and First Aid in an ESI Environment.About TECAThe Electrical Co.
