This role replaces an existing part time position and expands the scope significantly to meet growing demand.What You'll DoReview of Tyro Accounting bookkeeping for customers that want an accountant reviewReview, preparation and lodgement of BAS (Business Activity Statements) via the product and for our VIP customersPreparation of income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies and trustsPreparation of Financial Statements as requiredEnsure compliance with accounting standards and other regulationsIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes & efficienciesTake customer support calls regarding accounting questions or a run through of their lodgementsOther ad-hoc support to the Manger of Accounting and TaxWhat You'll BringRelevant tertiary and professional qualifications (IPA, Tax Agent, BAS Agent or equivalent)Proven experience in public practice as an Accountant or Tax Agent (or working towards)
or similar role for 3+ yearsA solid understanding of Australian Accounting StandardsA love of a big tech stack.
